I was a little worried about this week's assignment, because we just moved here a couple weeks ago so I haven't had much time to explore yet. I was worried that I wouldn't find a sign in time, but don't worry, I think I found a great one-and it was by accident too! I decided to make a trip to the local library and found this sign in the parking lot. Now, let me say that this is the 4th state I have lived in, and never before have I seen a speed limit sign like this...
Is this strange to anyone else???
yes, that is strange! how do you drive 12 mph? lol you may as well walk.
ReplyDeleteIt is strange actually. I have seen signs for 5, 10 or 20 mph but 12? Where did they get that number from?
ReplyDeleteI wish there's a law about speed limit here in the Philippines
ReplyDeleteActually, just recently I saw a blogpost with a speed limit sign for 24. Now where was that...
ReplyDeleteNot 10, not 15. Just 12. Might you get a ticket for going...13?
ReplyDeleteinteresting, and makes me think it has some sort of metric conversion that would be an even 5 or 0...
ReplyDelete12??? wow,lol
ReplyDeleteYes, we have slow ones all around Princeton, and what drives me crazy is when some drivers go slower than that!
ReplyDeletetoo funny! certainly would get ones attention.
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious. I guess it would get more noticed than 10 or 15 and maybe it would actually be followed.
ReplyDeleteNice job!
That is an odd number. Great find!
ReplyDelete12? TWELVE?? I've never seen that before. Somebody at the prison-sign-making assembly line made a typo, and somebody else just figured it was close enough, so why not?
ReplyDelete12 is sort of random why not 10 or 15, I have seen a sign before that was 5, have you ever tried to drive 5mph?
ReplyDeleteI never seen a 12 mph speed limit before. All the ones down here are increments of 5.
